Martysongs Now On Major Streaming Platforms
I have relented to more of the dark forces that reside in the swirling abyss that hover above us all and started adding a few of my songs to Spotify and all the other musical streaming behemoths. Please follow me or what have you.
I’m largely interested in doing this so that I can use my songs in little videos on the aforementioned Tok Tok/Reels, etc. So far I just have a few from my latest release’ Sock Puppet,’ but I'll keep adding more old releases throughout the year, and hopefully some new stuff, too.
Here, for instance, is Pizza The Puppet’s rousing song, “I Am Made of Pizza.”
The best place to support my work remains Bandcamp https://martysongs.bandcamp.com/ but now if you feel like jamming out to my tunes on the dominant little streamers, they are there.
The discerning eye and ear might note that an old song, “No Vampire” now appears as Martysongs rather than as “Mermaid Unicorn Mountain.” This has everything to do with the fact that I only have a finite number of “bands” I can release under before paying more money than makes it worth it. “No Vampire” is still very much a tune I created collaboratively with the incredible Joe Jakubowski, aka the amazing OK Glass, and he and I are looking forward to recording more fun songs for dark times. When we do release more stuff, we’ll figure out where it goes.
For now, go also listen to “Going To Space” on Spotify, too.
I wrote it for G’zort Bleep, a sock puppet based on an alien I made up for a comic I drew in the fourth grade. He’s from a land called Gup where, not coincidentally, a large portion of the aforementioned Seven Layers of Space novel takes place. It’s all coming together!
And then put those songs on playlists or whatever it is that the kids do these days! Please...
