Created with comedian and cartoonist Erik Bergstrom, Pizza the Barbarian is a pitch for an animated series originally pitched at (and rejected by) Comedy Central. It features characters and a world created by Erik and Marty and Erik's illustrations and designs.

Synospis:
A short-tempered slice of pizza and his plucky human companion must battle through the sinister plans of a cruel squirrel in order to navigate our world in order to return to Food Earth.
In its original form, Erik and Marty scripted a full pilot and broke stories for a 22-episode season.
Each animated comedy adventure presents a new adventure for Pizza and Sonya to navigate, where surreal and funny problems are the backdrop for characters whose relationships we come to care about. As if Conan the Barbarian were a buddy-cop show in the 90’s, starring a teenage goth girl and a living slice of pizza on an epic quest to fight a squirrel wizard.
